Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
It's been awhile since i blogged. Things is changing very fast every day. Let me break it up into pieces and summarised things that i didn't get the chance to blog.
Firstly, I'm official a bachelor student of UiTM Kelantan kampus Kota Bharu. YES i am back where i started. Due to my year that had received a large number of intakes lead to the limitation of students getting into the main campus; Shah Alam but that is ok. Praise to Allah SWT, that gave me and my friend the opportunity to continue our education to the next level. Trust me, non of us are happy when we didn't get into the first intake. Thank god, our rayuan was accepted. Ok, enough about the degree thing, i will share you guys more on my degree life on the next post.
So, it's the 21 Ramadan, left with 9 more days to Syawal. things has been crazy and still crazy right now. ITS THE 13 WEEK OF THE ACADEMIC CALENDAR . For those who does not know the definition of the week 13 and week 14, it is THE HELL WEEK. Why did i conclude it as the hell week ? Hell week does not only exist in the National Service (NS) but academic calendar too has their hell week. Basically hell week is where the week that you are pressure by your mental and physical. As for me, it is equal to madness. It is the only week that you will see me stress, crying and unfriendly face. Basically, it is where all the submission of reports, presentation, test and quiz that are squeeze into our planner before your study week (the week before the final exam). Alhamdulilah, i have 2 more presentation and 3 more test and 3rd language Role Play. argh, don't asked me why if i didn't attend your text or anything! It's no chill!
Before this hell week exist, i had my middle semester break. Well, this make sense actually when you didn't utilised your holidays for you hell week. well, i should say its a typical student actually when it comes to holiday means CUTI LAH/ HOLIDAY LAH no books :) well, that behaviour lead us to stressful, sleepless and brainless moment during the hell week :) (it's your own doing!) I was given a week of rest/holiday/to study so i went back to Singapore, for those whom are new. Both my parents are living in the Fine City (Singapore) why ? My papa and my abah are both Singaporeans and my mami is a permanent resident. SO I WENT BACK HOME FOR 4 days 3 night.
After the huge flood in Kelantan, this was the first time i am riding the Kereta Api Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) to Johor Bharu and then i exchange train to Singapore.
I took the easy way to get home as i was not in a rush. Boarding the train to Johor Bharu means that the trip was almost 12hours trip but it's okay as i took the superior night class ticket which i will be place in the bed side of the cabin in the train. The best part that, i could sleep and by the time i wake up i am on my way to home. What i am trying to say that i will not get that leg cramps sitting and no backaches. The ticket cost RM55 to Johor Bharu which is reasonable. Since it's 12 hours; yes. I had to break my fast and wake up to eat my sahur also in the train. It was an experience for me!
It was hard with the bad lighting but i survived and full too! my aunt and my grandmother pack plenty of food for me to bring up in the train. I am totally blessed to have such families that care much for me especially when it comes to food. Arriving in Singapore and having to see my mum was the best moment. No lies here, i do miss her even i didn't tell her. BEING AT HOME IS ALWAYS THE BEST PART especially when you are a student and been living thousands km from your families. Yes, for those known me you guys know that i have family in Kelantan unfortunately, it is never the same when compare to your house and parents. The first day i arrived, due to the work-shift left me and mami only as abah has to work in the afternoon.
My favourite dishes is all served, i missed that feeling siting and eating with my mum. The best part is my mum always served it well. I had always felt eating in some hotel when my mum served the food. In Singapore timing, we break our fast at 7.09PM compare to Kelantan which is 7.22PM The second day as planned i when to my papa's house. Since i am not coming back to Raya this year, trying my best to use the time given to spend well with the people i love.
It had been a long time since i actually sat on the table with everyone in Ramadan and having to sahur with them all. After that delicious meal and solat, Bibik Nora (my aunt) took us to the Bazaar Geylang. If you are in Singapore on Ramadan; the bazaar Geylang should be in our priority place to go! It has been 6/7 years since i came to bazaar Geylang.
To be honest, i missed every single time of it. I told Bibik Nana that i didn't get to feel what teenagers life in Singapore, i didn't get to feel what is it to feel berbuka puasa with friends outside then go bazaar together and just feel the Ramadan moment but it's okay. I cool with it! Our mission was to seek my brother's kurta for raya and my baju raya.
The next day, Bibik took me home and before that we went to IMM to find some raya shoes for nenek and atuk plus bik iqa. Sambil menyelam minum air, I survey some eye-catching stuff to pow my mum :) what ? it is not everyday i came home right ? The plan was to get home before 4.30PM because i understand that me, abah and mami will leave the house to break fast outside around 5o'clock unfortunately i didn't get the memo that we are going to leave the house early because go jalan-jalan. SERIOUSLY I DIDN'T KNOW :( in result, i came home late and everyone was upset because i came late so tak jadi lah nak berbuka puasa di luar. I get mad because i was looking forward to it and since i was mad i decided to sleep that afternoon well.. Not really sleeping but pretending to sleep, the usually Kiki Camerena when merajuk. That night we buka puasa at house ( the last night me at singapore)

| Since it was my last night, i went to terawih as i had always want to go. Basically it's the same in Malaysia just that it's in Singapore! |
While eating, me and mami decided to go shop for my raya shoes the next day before sending me back to Kelantan. SOOOO WE DID! We went IMM to get my kasut raya, then mami also bought her raya shoes (yang keberapa also i can't recall), i bought my new wallet (using maklong & nenek punya duit raya) and i bought my bag raya. While walking we stop by at the kios sale of Hang Ten and yes! Both of us bought stuff as it was on sale, everything was $9.90!! Crazy, seriously if you walk out of IMM not buying anything, you should be given a award!

Yesterday was undescribable moment for me and i am very sure the whole class is in the same page as me. We have two test on the same day, and both of the paper is a calculation paper. Ya Allah, i started revision at 2 in the morning until 4pm i had to struggle with only an hour of sleep. I had never been in a situation that i was very tired until there was this one in answering my Algebra II test i said " that's it. I had enough with this. My brain can't think anymore " so decided to left that one question. BARAI TAHAP CRITICAL. As for celebration of having to cop with the hardship, we break our fast at Aeon, as we are all exhausted and no one wants to be in the kitchen to cook.
Tomorrow is another tough day as it's our Persuasive speech and on Saturday is our ITS presentation and on Sunday is our Test 2 : STA 400, Monday Role Play + Test 2: ITS and Tuesday is our last day(last of week 14/last day of the semester before final) and also we end our semester 3 with Test 2 : STA 500. I had question myself " why i the first place i choose statistic as my course " or " why on earth i choose to continue my degree " lately while crying. I think that describe more than enough how stressful and pressuring it is.
All the best to all of you! Hugs and kisses from me to you guys!
Bachelor is not as easy as Diploma
Doakan saya dan semua rakan seperjuangan saya supaya dipermudahkan segalanya. Amin.xoxo,Kiki Camerena
